Cristina Nazzari begins post as Partnership Hub Officer
On 16 September the Operational Team Partnership Hub (OPteamPH) met for the first time after the summer break. The representatives of different Wadden Sea stakeholders and the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS), who work on the conceptualisation and establishment of the Partnership Hub, welcomed a new colleague: Cristina Nazzari. Alongside OPteamPH Secretary Margrita Sobottka, Cristina will serve as Project Officer to the Partnership Hub within CWSS. Holding a Master’s degree in European and Transnational Law, Cristina gained professional experience working within international projects focusing on sustainable development, natural and cultural heritage at European coastal sites. Throughout the projects’ implementation she was responsible for maintaining a constant and effective internal and external communication as well as for ensuring a proactive participation of various stakeholders in the main project’s activities. “Transnational and environmental issues have been the focus of my academic and working experience”, says Cristina. “I therefore look forward to bringing in my background and to further enhancing the transboundary cooperation in the Wadden Sea region with the Partnership Hub.
