World Natural Heritage bike tour

The Jordsand Association, which specialises in bird protection on the German coasts, cordially invites you to the "World Natural Heritage Bicycle Tour":

We want to explore the Wadden Sea National Park and the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site with you, by bike. The tour starts at the Dagebüll beach and will be approximately 8 km along the picturesque coast to the port of Schlüttsiel.

During the 2.5-hour excursion we will get a fascinating insight into the unique nature of the Wadden Sea. We will learn more about the diverse bird species, the importance of the salt marshes, the protection status of the national park and the World Heritage Site, the historical background and the impressive landscape of this region.

You should bring your own roadworthy bicycle, windproof and weatherproof clothing as well as food and drinks as required. We will not go into the mudflats during the tour.

The tour ends in Schlüttsiel, where you decide for yourself how and when you want to continue or return.

Price: The excursion is free of charge. We are very happy to receive a donation for our conservation work.
Dogs: Dogs are only allowed to accompany us on a leash and only if they are led absolutely safely on the bike.
